The Ideal Tuning Schedule
Under normal playing conditions, the ideal tuning schedule would be four times per year along with the correct atmospheric control (see Proper Piano Care).  After a while, the tuning will get easier and more refined and the piano will sound better and better until it has reached in quality of tone the best that it can produce.  The tuner is able to do a better job each time until he or she produces an incredible quality of work, and at the same time the piano owner's hearing of musical tones will become refined to the point that an out-of-tune piano will be intolerable.  This represents accumulative refinement and much effort and expense. 

Services and Pricing (subject to $5.00 increase outside of 30 travel miles)

Tuning:  $95.00
Pitch Raising to A-440:  $40.00
Cleaning soundboard and action:  $100.00

All action repairs and rebuilding and regulation/voicing work must be appraised:
   Appraisal:  $60.00 within 30 miles

Complete piano rebuilding:  prices start at $12,000 (appraisal required)

Reed Organ:  appraisal required

Player Piano:  appraisal required
